Vantage Venues is committed to operating as an accessible,  environmentally friendly venue. We hold ourselves to the highest standard and look for innovative ways to lead the industry with respect to sustainability and social responsibility.

Key points to our strategy include but are not limited to:

  • We operate in full compliance with the AODA
  • Gold Star Certified IACC Venue
  • FeastOn Certified. Sourcing local food ingredients.
  • Minimizing waste by routinely evaluating operations and ensuring efficiencies.
  • Promoting and actively participating in recycling of all applicable products.
  • Donating leftover food to Good Shepherd Ministries
  • Minimizing energy use through reduction when possible, transferring to LED bulbs and using low energy appliances
  • Continued employee awareness and education by our Environmental Committee
  • As a tenant at 150 King Street West (managed by Bentall Greenoak), our landlords are a key partner in accomplishing our environmental goals. We are pleased to report their achievement of the Gold Certification under the Canada Green Building Council’s LEED for Existing Buildings.

Vantage Venues opened in 1987 as The Corporate Seminar Centre, created to provide a purpose-built environment for meetings and training in downtown Toronto.

In 2001, the business became St. Andrew’s Club & Conference Centre following a move to 150 King Street West, directly above St. Andrew subway station at University Avenue and King Street. The new location expanded the venue’s capabilities to include conferences, receptions, dinners, and client events supported by skyline views and adaptable event spaces.

Over the past three decades, Vantage Venues has hosted more than 40,000 meetings and events. Long-standing relationships with corporate clients reflect the venue’s reputation for thoughtful spaces, integrated expertise, and consistently well-executed experiences.
