Chef Kyle Mcclure
His strong connection to northern communities and love of nature has inspired his approach, always on the hunt for the freshest local ingredients. Ontario born and raised, Kyle began his culinary career north of the city, cutting his teeth in some of the province’s best resorts. His career took off after working at a few of Toronto’s finest dining establishments including Millcroft Inn, Opus and Rosewater.
Kyle has been the Executive Chef at Vantage Venues for 10 years. With a background in French food and classical techniques, Kyle loves to get imaginative. While his passion is upscale comfort food with a strong southern influence, just about anything Kyle creates in his kitchen is conversation worthy.
Executive Sous Chef
Barrington Grahame (Barry)
Jamaican born, Barry has mad skills in the kitchen! He grew up in the restaurant industry working as a dishwasher while in high school and quickly moved up the ranks to become a Grill Cook and Sous Chef at ACME Bar and Grill. Before owning and operating his own restaurant, Planet Crystal, Barry was a Sous Chef at Oliver’s Bistro, the Sutton Place Hotel and Canoe. He has been a member of the Vantage Venues team as Executive Sous Chef for 10 years.
Aja fell in love with pastry and the fine balance of art and science while working for LeBremner in Montreal. Her culinary career began in 2007 where she spent her formative years at the Four Seasons hotel and the Scotiabank Arena. She is now a company sous chef and CDC at Vantage Venues and Lob Toronto.
A certified sommelier, journalist and wine educator, Erin literally drinks and throws parties for a living. Having earned her designation from the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers in 2008, she worked for some of Toronto’s leading venues, including Canoe and the Badminton and Racquet Club of Toronto, before founding The Wine Sisters.
Erin runs Wine School here at Vantage Venues and her team offers engaging Wine Tasting packages to liven up any meeting or reception.
